the green one works visually. though it is a lot more “traditional” than the others.

i’ve had this problem playing with extreme colouration on my saurians. part of why your green guy is working for me and the others aren’t quite, is that his scales are a slight off match of the main body’s green. on the blue ones you’ve made the scales all a REALLY contrasting blue from the main. for a pattern this works, but see if adding scales that are slight variants of the main blue helps.
